The "timing" of this episode was great for me. I recently led a workshop on Integrating the Use of an Interactive Whiteboard in a Primary Classroom for 16 teachers. Unfortunately, I had some significant technical difficulty just before I started, and then another problem as I began. As some colleagues were helping to get my board back to being "interactive", I tried to carry on with the presentation. Everything worked itself out, but I felt a bit drained. As a result, I stopped for a break at a point that wasn't really suitable. If I had followed your advice for having check points in mind, I would have been more aware that it was too soon for a break and kept on going a little longer. It all worked out, as the presentation was well received. Fortunately I knew most of the people attending and they had volunteered to be there. They were all very supportive.
